Born from a street cart.
Built for Houston.
Lupita's didn't start in a restaurant. It started on a corner, with a grill, a cooler full of limes, and a recipe that had been passed down through three generations. The kind of corn you eat standing up, dripping down your wrist, and swear you've never tasted before — even though you have, somewhere, sometime, in a place that felt like home.
When we moved to Houston, we brought the grill with us. Not literally — but close. Every dish on this menu carries the same spirit: honest food, made with the patience it deserves, served with the warmth of a family that learned to feed people before they learned anything else.
This isn't fusion. This isn't interpretation. This is what your abuela would make if she could find the right corn in Texas — only better, because we know exactly what we're doing now.
